Yes xceedspeed it the local everything forum, its not my cup of tea though. It is a good place to find out where everything is and what going on but you can't take xceeders too searously. Thus far I am thinking a good place to meet up is David H Shepard Park in Oak Park it should be pretty quiet during the dream Cruise. I'll start spreading the work.
I will be attending...me and my buddy coming from toronto, if anyones coming from around that area, let me know.
What about at Cameron Motor Speedway? It's on upper james street which is just of the Linkin Alexander Parkway which is an exit from the 403...its where i used to race carts, good place to meetPick a spot near the 403 in Hamilton and we'll all meet up

How about Home Depot at 122 Martindale Crescent, Ancaster, ON L9K 1J9 - it's right off the highway and it's less likley that we'll loose people in a convoy:

Mi_240sx, what's the word on meet spots? There is a large Woodward thread on Xceed but I can't decipher it because they change the location every week or so and use local lingo (or some shit I haven't figured out) to say what lots they're in, lol.
Ha, I'm not surprised that no one responded. The Woodward thread probably won't do too much good for the dream cruise, it meant for a weekly thing. Usually they all meet up on Fridays at the lot at Woodward south of 14 mile rd, But everything changes during the cruise weekend.
I know they will be out but they are so unbelievably disorganized right now, and probably not even thinking that far off. If the convoy is coming in on Friday the local meeting location will probably be worked out at the last minute. If you want to get a meet going for Saturday it would have to be a little furter away from Woodward and the crazyness.
I'll see what I can do and who I can harass for answers.

The meet I was at in '05 was the "Redline Meet" I guess... And he said the same thing; that meets around the dream cruise usually end up being quite a ways away from the big show. The Redline Meet was a littel ways away from what I remember.
Yeah really hard to get parking at or around woodward unless you are part of a club that rents out a parking lot, know someone or show up redic early.
I remember last year the merc marauders club rented out the BK lot.
The CTS-V guys meet at like 16 and woodward since one of the guys has a parking lot from his work that we use.

Yep thats about right. The Police try to limit burnouts but there is always one poorly patroled stretch.
